About

I studied drawing and textile art in Amsterdam. I was encouraged to be creative from childhood on and loved it always. To experiment with paint and other media, learning how techniques could help me to make beautiful paintings that earned me some admiration on the side, wasn’t bad at all.
I have made representative as well as formal paintings.
For me a painting is finished when it catches and keeps holding my attention.When I can keep looking at it while discovering new things. And not in the least: It has to be cheerful.
