About

MINA CAPUTO
With influences ranging from Led Zeppelin and The Doors to Arthur Rimbaud and William S. Burroughs, Life of Agony front woman Mina Caputo is equal parts stalwart rocker and literary outlaw. Her eclectic solo records include collaborations with industry heavyweights such as bass and trumpet player Flea (The Red Hot Chili Peppers), guitarist Craig Ross (Eric Clapton) and producer Martyn Lenoble (Jane’s Addiction). On the festival circuit, Caputo has shared stages with titans like Coldplay, Nine Inch Nails, Björk, David Bowie, Pixies, and Foo Fighters. Her first book of poetry, a collaboration with fellow downtown artist Michael Alago entitled Night Blooming Jasmine Will Never Smell the Same, was published in 2010.
