The clock motor is what manages the functioning of a wrist watch. The clock motor (or motion as it is typically understood in the trade) tracks the variety of pulses produced from a quartz crystal, therefore obtaining just how far to turn the hands. The early clock motor was strictly a mechanical gadget.
