Lane Luckie is an EMMY Award-winning journalist, who worked in newsrooms in Tyler, Lufkin, Shreveport, Dallas, & Lake Charles. A graduate of Northwestern State University, Lane earned a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Political Science.

He is a huge history buff and sees journalism as an ideal opportunity to write the “first draft” of history as it happens, helping to build an informed community. Everyone has a story and he promises to do his best to tell each one fairly.

Much of his spare time is spent exploring new destinations, photographing people and places along the way. He’s an avid college sports fan. When Lane’s not chasing his next story, you’ll find him embarrassing himself on the golf course or taking in good company and stories over a great meal.
