Lena was born in Edina, Minnesota in 1995, but have spent most of her life in the greater Baltimore area. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts at Towson University May 2017 and graduated summa cum laude.  Coming from a family of creators and inventors, she is continually pushing the limits of what can be. Lena's enchantment with photography started when her parents gave her their 1988 Polaroid camera at four years old. They were amongst one of their many moves, which was one of the reasons Lena found it so beautiful. Time always seemed so fragile and fleeting, but her camera gave her the power to steal a moment. Lena wishes for viewers to look at her work and apply their own emotions and memories to create an intensely personal experience.
