|My Occupation||artist, writer, linguist, poet, teacher|
Born in Southern California, studied three years at the Sorbonne in France, lived twenty years in Mexico, where I raised my three sons and worked at a variety positions, as French and English professor, graphic illustrator, copywriter, translator/interpreter, and aquatic resource assistant, while pursuing my fine art on the side. My greatest loves are the Faith, my family and the arts. Returned to Northern California in 1983 to continue raising my family while working as a language teacher/interpreter/translator. Now living in San Diego, California - full circle to my birthplace and ready to write the next chapter. My love of challenge continues to inspire my writing, art and life itself, as past hardships overcome have made me stronger and more eager to face new challenges.
Life's motto: "Happiness is not getting what you want, but wanting what you get."
|Spoiler alert: I'm thinking my next book will be about...|
Mexican Recipes - legitimate and straight from my mother-in-law's table in Veracruz. From humble ingredients to exquisite cuisine - No one cooks a bad meal in Mexico!|
"Don't Trash It - Fix It!" Saving 'failed' artwork. From my experiences and resulting successes.
"Bear's Day" - an endearing look at the mis-adventures of "Bear" - A childrens' book (with a moral of course).
|Everyone needs to know about these authors and artists...|
