Louise Punt-Fouche was born in South Africa on September 4, 1958. She has two children. She became an artist, a yoga teacher and a psychologist.
“I live in a small village, on the periphery of life with a wonderful husband, two extraordinary children and two beautiful dogs. I live in a space where light is the most central feature. I have the priviledge in my work as a psychologist, to share many interior spaces with others. I love drawing faces as maps of experience; patterns as the settings of archetypal existence; words in images; mandalas as blueprints of infinity; conceptual art (installations) as a reflective tool of situated consciousness and poetry to explore Understanding without fear."
“Since I can remember, I have been creating through drawing, painting and writing. Although life has been puzzling most of the time, moments of creating in which time stood still existed throughout my life. It was in these moments that I glimpsed beauty."
