Born in Washington, Iowa. Raised in North County San Diego. Educated at the University of Iowa and various Junior Colleges in California, Alaska and Iowa. Studied for a year in Bilbao, Spain. Spent 2 years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Province of La Comarca Ngabe-Bugle, Panama. Now working at as a photojournalist/reporter for the New Haven Registers spanish language paper, Registro.
