I have basque roots, but I was born in Menorca in 1976 by chance. My father was a amateur photographer, and my mothers family has the artistic touch, so as I grew up I dicovered my liking for aesthetics and arts.
I studied high school of arts in the Escuela de la Palma in Madrid, and I began to work as assistant to my uncle, the photographer Alfonso Zubiaga. Atracted by cinema I travelled to Cuba in 2000 where I graduated on cinematography in the Cinema School of San Antonio de los Baños.
Since then I live in Madrid.
I had worked for almost 2 years in the Fashion Museum of Madrid, taking photos to the permanent exhibition, I have done the scene photography and the making of in several movies and spots, as also works as a cinematographer for tv headings and video-art. Now I collaborate with magazines and I do reports and advertising graphic campaigns, also I´m beginig to work as a teacher. I´m interested in every field of photography.
