Luis Chacón was born in Ronda (Malaga) on 28 February 1974. He has lived in Grazalema since he was a child and contact with the natural world is present in many of his works. After studying artistic design and studying music Luis decided to sell his electric guitar and replace it with a camera. And from that point began his true calling ... Completely self-taught, his first photographic projects were in 35mm film but soon switched to digital. Luis is well known in the area for his stunning portrait photography and he works mostly in black and white medium.

His first exhibition entitled "The inhabitants of Chefzalema" a work of black and white portraits he made between Grazalema and Morocco, this year introduced the artistic encounters between the two shores, "EC3" in Algeciras and Bienal Internacional de arte de Granada, nolugar the art company, zunder collective (Sevilla 2012)
