I am a painter who specializes in narrative images, especially those concerning postwar domestic culture. I attended the University of Michigan where I received a double degree in English and History, and later earned an M.F.A. in Creative Writing. I went on to attain a Master's degree in Comparative Literature and American Culture Studies at Columbia University and attended the M.F.A. program in photography at the San Francisco Art Institute. Time spent among these academic and artistic endeavors convinced me that my most important work in painting would reflect the synthesis of many academic, literary and visual concerns. Selected Exhibitions: Museum of Fine Arts, Santa Fe, New Mexico, Harwood Museum of Art, Taos, New Mexico, Art & Industry, Santa Fe, New Mexico, the Sonoma Museum of Art and the di Rosa Preserve, Napa, California.
