Beth Brown is a native of Sidney, NY; a graduate of the Sidney High School class of 1995; & a member of PPGNY. Currently, she is residing in Brooklyn, NY and teaching middle school as well as pursuing her her love of Fine Arts Photography. While Brown has always enjoyed taking pictures, it wasn’t until she worked as an assistant to a wedding photographer in Rochester, NY that she realized photography is her true passion. In February 2011, Brown’s exhibit “City Meets Country” was on display at the Sidney Memorial Public Library. Her photograph of a NYC West 16th Street scene “Dreams Suspended” received Honorable Mention at the 2011 Jericho Fine Arts Show held in Bainbridge, NY. Brown’s photographs are an expression of the vibrancy of life. Her goal is to capture simple images from an unique perspective. Brown sees each day as a new photo opportunity & every opportunity as a story to be recorded & told. |
