Willy Branlund was born and raised on the island of Oahu, in Hawaii. He was born into an artist family, his mother was a painter and photographer, his father a sculptor. Art was always prevelant around the house. However, it wasn't until the age of 25 that he first picked up a camera. He took some classes at a community college in Southern Nevada, was discovered by Moving Sun studios- and dropped out of School. The rest...as they say, is history. His inspiration for photographs... life. |
