Born in the 30's and growing up in a small town in Iowa, my life's journeys have allowed me to see many wonderful places, meet many
inspiring people, and best of all gave me my wife Mercedes....we are still together after nearly 50 years of marriage. We celebrate our good fortune with our family and friends day by day.

Art and painting make up a very major part of my life.

A studio in downtown Fresno allows me time to pursue this interest, and to become involved in the vibrant art community that our city enjoys. I also enjoy jazz music. Having been involved in the past as a radio dj, and m.c. for several jazz festivals over the years, I have met many of my musical heros.

While the color of my hair is grey, I still maintain a youthful outlook on
