| My Bio |
Aurora-nominated poet Helen Marshall (manuscriptgal.com) is an author, editor, and self-proclaimed bibliophile. Her poetry has been published in The Chiaroscuro, Paper Crow, Abyss & Apex and the long-running Tesseracts anthology series. In 2011, she released a poetry chapbook entitled Skeleton Leaves from Kelp Queen Press that was jury-selected for the Preliminary Ballot of the Bram Stoker Award, short-listed for an Aurora Award and nominated for a Rhysling Award. Her short story collection, Hair Side, Flesh Side, will be released from ChiZine Publications in November, 2012. Currently, she is pursuing a Ph. D in medieval studies at the University of Toronto, for which she spends a great deal of her time staring at fourteenth-century manuscripts. Unwisely. When you look into a book, who knows what might be looking back. |
