MAPA has two fundraisers: 1) Arts for the Parks, bringing the artist, the parks and the community together for a common purpose - to help protect our parks and our quality of life. Artists compete for cash awards. Artwork is based on our local state parks. 2) Abalone Festival and Cook-Off: First Saturday in October. Chefs compete for grand prizes by preparing their favorite abalone recipes. Ticket holders vote for what they believe is the best dish. |
