I was born to gypsies, but stolen in the middle of the night by a middleclass professional Jewish couple from Shaker Heights Ohio. My childhood was one of struggle - given every toy imaginable and sent to the best schools, I yearned for the tambourine and the wild dancing by moonlight around the communal fire. To my fathers great disappointment, I chose not to become a gynocologist, instead opting to choose urology. Again, my parents thrwarted my dreams. So, to get even, I planned a career in non-profits - and while I may have won the war, I fear that I may have lost the battle.
