Right now I am studying Kerry James Marshal and Cindy Sherman. Of the two Cindy is a photographer and model, like me she uses herself as a subject, with every new project as a re-invention, new character, or new persona. And Absolutely hilarious! A good book to read, if you don't understand contemporary art is "But is it Art?" by Cynthia Freeland. |
