M. H. Stroh grew up around the lakes in west-central Minnesota, and spent much of her adult life in the Northwoods near Duluth, MN. She has Bachelor's Degree in English and Anthropology, and a Master's Degree in Cultural Resource Management.
She currently works as an archaeologist, in Northwest Iowa, where she gets to experience a multitude of landscapes and cultures, which inspire many of her poems. She spends her free time writing poetry and fiction inspired by life in the Midwest.
