The other Martin Taylor was born at the tail end of the 60's in the north west of England. He began taking pictures in his early teens but, when the time came to choose a discipline for his degree, and later, a way to earn a living, he was persuaded that photography was not a respectable pursuit for a grown man. Ever since Martin has been trying to pursue a photographic life outside the constraints of the 9-to-5 and cubicle culture. He has almost given up such foolishness several times but his love of photography always draws him back. He considers himself a true amateur; an enthusiast who pursues photography purely for the love of it a without being beholden to clients or picture editors.
