I always wanted to be a pilot. I spent all of my working life strapped to the seat of either military airplanes or airliners. Since retirement, I have been writing about things that interest me ... such as flying.
The book, Stoofdriver: Flying The Grumman S-2 Tracker, is a collection of photographs from my collection that I took while I was attached to the USS Hornet and flying the "Stoof."
I married my High School sweetheart while I was in the Navy and we shared that experience. We have two gorgeous daughters and four wonderful grandchildren. Life has been good.
