Hi!
This is a story by me, Hailee Shannon Rice, when I was six years old.

I wrote this book to help my friends, in my first grade class, understand birthmarks.

When this book was written, I had had eighteen laser treatments.
I am very proud of my birthmark, and will miss it when it's gone.

I hope that this book will help children understand what a portwine stain is and to love one another for who they are.
