Michelle J. Wong is an emerging photographer and journalist whose work has appeared in various publications around the word, including The New York Times, Reuters and many other publications. He has his own column of travel photojournalism and he is the winner of the National Geographic Photography Contest Gallery 2010.
Wong was born in Costa Rica, and left at a young age to travel and see the world. His travels took him all around Central and South America, Europe and North America. Wong received his journalistic training at Santa Barbara City College, where he got his Associate degree in journalism, with emphasis in editing, broadcasting and visual arts, while publishing in local Santa Barbara news publications including noozhawk.com and independent.com, and the SBCC newspaper The Channels.
