In 2013 after practicing law in Texas since 1966 Jerome Levy retired to Florida. He was a frequent author on legal subject during his years as a practicing attorney and a mediator, but he had never previously written a book of fiction. "I Can't Believe My Lying Eyes - the Tsunami" is based on fact, which is to say that on December 26, 2004 an unknown man defied every rudimentary human survival instinct and walked to his certain death into the path of a mountainous wave. The first part of the book discusses the tsunami and describes this man whose identity will never be known. The second part of the book contains fifteen short stories of mythical men who chose to die by this manner.
