Martin Simpson is currently studying a Ba(HONS) Degree in Photography at Blackpool and the Flyde college.

He has found a strong interest in still life and his current projects include experiments of colour, abstract forms and light. He is also wanting to develop his "sensory" work, in order to involve children with learning disabilities, and display his images in multi sensory environments in order to encourage stimulation as a form of therapy.

Although living in Blackpool Martin is originally from Leyland and bases his work and study around the North West.

He also wishes to develop both his studies and personal work to incorporate different styles and genres of photography, looking at portraiture and landscapes.
