Axis Mundi is a tightâknit, interdisciplinary design firm founded by John Beckmann. The firm is known for their thoughtful modernist architecture and luxurious interior design. Our designs have been featured in numerous international publications, such as The New York Times, Metropolitan Home, and Wallpaper, among others.
In 1996, John Beckmann received a grant from the Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts for the book The Virtual Dimension: Architecture, Representation and Crash Culture, Princeton Architectural Press, 1998. He is a graduate of Parsons School of Design.
