Born in Toronto, Canada his passion for photography began at age 16. Early inspirations emerged from fields and wooded areas along the Oak Ridges Moraine where he enjoyed framing trees, sunsets, wildlife and foliage. Over the past six years Michael has traveled through New Zealand, Greece, Peru, U.S.A., England, South Africa, Lesotho, Spain, Morocco and Cuba.Michael Nakou has been teaching in Christian settings since week one of his commitment to Christ. He pastored young adults for five years creating the organic fellowship Soulfood. He regularly teaches youth and young adults in university and church settings. He is a sessional professor at George Brown College in Toronto. His academic efforts include obtaining a Bachelor of Religious Education from Tyndale University College with honours. He endeavours to complete a Masters of Theological Studies at Tyndale Seminary in 2010.
Michael currently lives in Toronto with his wife Anita and his twin girls Evangeline and Josephine.
