| My Bio |
Lesley graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 1982 with a Degree in Honours in Design, specialising in Printed Textiles. She then obtained a Certificate for the Practice of Teaching Art at Jordanhill College of Education. After teaching art for ten years in a High School in Scotland, Lesley immigrated to Australia. She has taught adults drawing and silk painting at TAFE colleges and is currently teaching art in a private college in the Gold Coast, Queensland. "I have loved art since a child and I am at my happiest when creating. I enjoy all artforms but have a preference for silk painting, pastel, graphite, digital art & photography." "My favourite subject matter is flora & fauna and I am very lucky to live in Queensland where there is an abundance of stunning flowers & wildlife. I can get very close to the native birds and possums with my camera when they come down to the garden for a feed". |
