"It isn't only beauty that the beholder's eye sees, but also value. If no one ever sees a painting, no matter how beautiful, rare or clever, what value has it? Until this year, I felt there was no reason to make art, no venue, no outlet. But then the internet, blogs and eBay came along and with them there were Beholders. And they began to speak up. The fact that people were emotionally moved, desired to own, made to smile, offered their hard-earned dollars in exchange for the painted surfaces that developed under my brush, made me realize that I should paint. And paint I did. For you, my dear Beholder."
