Growing up in Opole, Poland and immigrating to New York City at the age of seven, Polish food was always what brought the family together for dinner and the holidays. When Natalia was young, she would watch her Babcia (Grandma), Wanda, while she cooked and baked away in her small kitchen in Opole. She was mesmerized by how delicious everything always came out, and dreamed of the days she would be able to recreate the same dishes.

When she was a bit older, she would spend countless hours in the kitchen kneading dough and peeling potatoes with her Mama. When she was a teenager, her Mama owned a Polish restaurant in Arizona, and both her Mama and Babcia were chefs. Natalia’s entire life has been spent tasting delicious Polish cuisine. The reward was much more than getting to play with food and discovering her origins, it was countless hours spent laughing and sharing stories in the kitchen with a good glass of white wine, and getting together with her friends and family to enjoy what th
