My Occupation My photography is my release but unfortunately doesn't pay the bills yet.
My Bio I moved to New Zealand to be with my wife in 2001 and have had fun capturing the unique beauty that is Aotearoa. We are both into our photography. I shoot as Pinepig Studio and she as Spiritsdance Studio, together we are Pinedance Studios.

I enjoy shooting a variety of subjects and hope to bring as much as I can of this beautiful country to family, friends and strangers. My main topic are landscapes, but I also focus on plants and flowers, antiques, patterns, textures and anything that draws my attention.

My camera of choice is a Pentax K10D, which I've enjoyed using.

Take a virtual trip through the wonders of this land in one of my books. All are set to full preview.

Things I Don't Mind The World Knowing

Spoiler alert: I'm thinking my next book will be about...
I have a dream to create a book with my favourite black and white images. I like the "As I Wander" theme and may use this in future books.

June 2010: I've finished "Broken Memories", a memento mori of Waikumete Cemetery. Check it out and take a virtual walk in New Zealand's largest cemetery.
Everyone needs to know about these authors and artists...
Photographers: Andres Apse, Ansel Adams, Galen Rowell, Dorthea Lange
This book is addictive. Read it. (At your own risk.)
"The Soulless" by L G Burbank. An excellent read, a different take on the vampire genre that has recently sprung up.

I'm currently reading "Earth User's Guide to Permaculture" by Rosemary Morrow and "TIdes of Kawhia" by Tom O'Connor.
