Judith Pishnery grew up in a small coal mining town in central Pennsylvania and moved to the growing city of Atlanta in the mid-seventies. She currently resides in a small town, not unlike where she grew up, outside Atlanta with her husband and two small poodles. She began her passion for photography while in high school and continues it today. She is a professional photographer, working for editorial, advertising and corporate clients, and her fine art work is part of several private and corporate collections. Additionally, she has been teaching photography for 20 years and is a Master of Arts graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, where she is also a photography professor at the Atlanta campus.
