The author is a self-taught photographer who got into film photography in 1985. Her entry into corporate life and a successful career in Marketing and Corporate Communications temporarily hindered her from pursuing her passion for photography. In 2004, the author took a serious interest in digital photography. This renewed interest fueled back her passion. She has now turned pro and currently specializes in pet , people and urban photography.

A true-blue cat lover and animal rights advocate, the author has always taken serious interest in the welfare of abandoned animals and uses her photos to entice and inspire more people to take a closer look at pet adoption and caring just a little bit more for abandoned animals. Her books not only showcase her body of work, but it is an extension of her personal crusade for animal rights. She will donate 50% of the sale from her books to the Humane Society.
