OneDayOnePhoto is an international community of individual photographers drawn together by a social, virtual portal through which moments in time converge and are shared along a continuum unconstrained by borders, nationality, language and distance. It is a gathering of friendships born and connected within a dimension that transcends physical space, and yet, invites each one of us to experience real moments in time that span the world we share. Through a variety of images, we witness a world within which the ordinary becomes the extra-ordinary, where we may observe and be observed. Daily snapshots are received and experienced like postcards from momentary visits with the real, and our imagination. We are no longer stagnant and removed from the world, but are beckoned to travel across vast shores and horizons that defy our perceptions.
