Pat Vasquez-Cunningham is a photographer with 19 years of professional photography experience based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. His images have received awards from the Associated Press, the National Press Photographers Association, the New Mexico Press Association and the New Mexico Associated Press Managing Editors. While on vacation at Bandelier National Monument in the early 1990's, Vasquez-Cunningham was so taken by the magnitude of the grand vistas and the state's unique cultural diversity that he soon moved from his home state of Connecticut to the Land of Enchantment. His passion is photography, and the journey has taken him to Southeast Asia, Europe, South America and Mexico. He makes a mean tortilla soup and a killer tofu scramble.
