My love affair with the camera started years ago in high school when my parents gave me my first 35mm Minolta instead of allowing me to date. Bummer. It was so small and yet ultimately even more intimidating than a riding lawn mower! I vowed to master that silly thing. I am a long way off from mastery, but I have found that it is a great tool for discovering who people really are.
Fortunately, it has not hindered my social life one bit! Woohoo! I thumb my nose at my parents for that.
Now, when I grow up, I think I will be a photographer...and a writer.
