I wrote "Memories of World War Two" in 2011. I left school at fourteen, having been raised by my mother in the workhouse. I have just finished the sequel which descibes my life after the war and fills in some details about my early life.
The other book is about a wonderful journey made in 2002 through the French and Belgian Canals with my friends Tony and Esther aboard “Duet of Arne”, their 8 metre Catalac Catamaran.
From Maldon in Essex we crossed the Channel and motored though the canals across France and into Belgium. Many incidents befell us along the way, some dangerous some amusing.
