No question, creativity is contagious in my family. My lovely wife and I raised two children, one now a successful graphic artist, the other a practicing civil engineer. Creativity in one form or another has always been in my blood. Photography came early to me--long before the digital, have-it-now age. I sure have a lot of work from that time stowed away.. Not having issue with change, I've welcomed this new found ability to digitally capture the pixels in our world, the light, the shadow, the colors. Further, not being necessarily a traditionalist, I have been known to alter reality in the virtual darkroom of editing software. It is a wonderful thing. The focus of my work has always been more toward the inanimate. I have an appreciation for the shape and form in the engineered creations of man: architectural/structural, automotive, marine. Put all this into the world around us, and I'm at home behind the lens--hopefully to capture an image... in honor of reality.
