Jeannette was born and raised in Modesto, California. She received her BA in Design from California State University at San Jose. She received an MA from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque where she now lives. She taught photography and Illustration at the high school and college levels for thirty-one years. She now freelances photography and works for a tour agency as a tour escort. She combines photography with taking people all over the world.
