About

I'm a freelance photographer based out of Chicago covering special and corporate events, weddings, live music, food, product, promotional, nightlife, head shot, and portrait photography. In a growing business, it's hard to stick to one area of photography, or one area of media for that matter. I think of rubencantu media as "one stop shop", covering all realms of Digital Media.

Areas of Expertise

As a Digital Media Specialist, I have expanded my knowledge base past doing just photography. I know take on graphic and web design work for both print and web use. I also help clients preserve their digital files through backing up and storage. While working within high end bar/bat mitzvahs in Chicago's North Shore community, I have found a niche designing custom photo-books. The end result being a quality product, and a satisfied customer.

Professional Affiliations

I graduated from Columbia College in Chicago with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography. I work directly with studio owners, non-profit organizations, bars, restaurants, and artists all over Chicago, helping them build a web presence and promote their businesses.
