Things I Don't Mind The World Knowing

Spoiler alert: I'm thinking my next book will be about...
The life of the writer, Frank Waters, with images supporting quotes from his 28 books.
Set in the American Southwest. This was the focus of my recent artist in residency.
Everyone needs to know about these authors and artists...
I admire the writing of Jim Fergus, James Salter, Richard Ford, Tom McGuane and Irwin Shaw. Of course Hemingway factors in there somewhere.
As for photographers, Edward Weston tops my list, along with Paul Strand, Wynn Bullock, Robert Frank, Elliot Porter, Helmut Newton, and E.S. Curtis.
This book is addictive. Read it. (At your own risk.)
"A Sport and Pastime" by James Salter, "The Lay of the Land", Richard Ford, "The Last Apache Girl" by Jim Fergus.
