Always difficult this one - how one is perceived by the world at large ! Although interested in many areas of photography, documenting the lives of people is where I'm focused at right now. I always struggle however as maybe many photographers do, as to whether the image or the story comes first. Most definately an image can stand alone, but there can be a wealth of information that can indeed change a perception and should be known. It's about recording the truth at the camera end with the very minimum of post production editing. |

In December 2009 I travel to the Philippines for six weeks. I will be focusing on the street children mainly in Cebu city but in addition will be documenting other cultural issues as I find them. |
