| My Bio |
I am a Spanish professor who teaches Latin American Literature and Culture, Spanish language classes, and also writing and conversation courses. I also love Portuguese. I have visited various Latin American countries, and have lived in Guatemala City, Mexico City, and Campinas, Brazil. I enjoy exposing my students to Latin American reality through literature, music, film, art, and especially photography. I consider myself a humanitarian photographer, and I hope to use my knowledge of Latin America to help promote change in the world through photography. Specifically, I would like to do promotional photography for NGOs that focus on marginalized people groups, such as children who live in difficult social conditions. I want to present other cultures in a way that shows respect, dignity and understanding, while at the same time helping people see or learn something new about the human condition. |
