About

Sonia Harrison Jones was born in England, educated in the U.S., and spent the rest of her life in Canada (it isn’t over yet). After receiving her PhD from Harvard in Romance Languages and Literatures, she chaired the Spanish Department at Dalhousie University in Halifax for many years. She and her husband bought a cow in an unguarded moment (their kids loved milk, so what could they do?), but Daisy’s bounty was too much for even milk lovers to handle. So they started a small yogurt business which eventually became a multi-million dollar enterprise (“It All Began With Daisy,” Dutton/Penguin NY). The corporation was so successful that the feds, of course, decided to regulate it right out of existence. Now Sonia is well into her third career, writing books a mile a minute.
