Born in Italy but now residing in Indiana, Carmen Ellis has had a passion for the visual arts since childhood. Carmen took to art as soon as she was able to hold a crayon. Throughout her life she has developed an appreciation for the surreal and the whimsical . Her childhood love for Halloween, Sammy Terri and the late night horror show turned into her now creepy cute folk art characters she named Spooky Hollow. She also loves creating fairy tale art including Alice in Wonderland. Her love for illustration, sculpting and painting has turned into a fulfilling home career . Her art appeals to both adults and children. Watch for a Spooky Hollow children's book coming out next year. |
