Ms. Saibara has always been an active photographer. For some 25 years, she shot underwater images, some of which won international awards, in seas around the world and are featured in her 2007 Blurb book, Forever Fish.
These days, she’s ditched the wetsuit in favor of land-based photography and authored 2 other photo books, Goofballs and Spain: the Costa del Sol Report.  She is an advanced breast cancer survivor whose personal mantra is to live life on her terms.  She earned her B.A. at Texas A&M and her Master's degree at the University of Houston.
