Marilyn Saltzberg

Marilyn was a public school teacher for 22 years in Massachusetts, teaching special education and fifth grade math and science.

She also spent 12 years on the Norwood, MA School Committee, serving as chair for two terms, tutored students for many years and was a grader for the MCAS exam.

Aside from education, Marilyn loved spending time with her family, including their dog Pompeii, a four-year-old Yorkie-toy poodle mix. This first book was written by Marilyn before she passed away in March 2010.

Marilyn's family is planning to continue the book series about Pompeii. Marilyn had many ideas for future books but unfortunately did not get the chance to put them all down in writing.
