Jay-Dee was hooked from an early age when she learned how to develop photos with her father in his darkroom. She takes great pleasure in sharing her photos with friends, and on several occasions, close friends have asked her to be the photographer of a special event in their life. She has published a few photography books, either for friends or just as a way to document a personal memory. There isn’t one thing that draws her to photography: she likes to create memories; she enjoys learning; she enjoys new challenges – she can achieve this through her photography. She is totally fascinated with how she can trap light, shadows and colour in a permanent image and then view that moment in time, repeatedly. She has no ambition to become a professional photographer – she just enjoys taking photos.
