Statement and Short Bio of Donald David

Donald David has a life long interest in photography. His main subjects are those found in nature, with an abiding passion for showing how beautiful the world is and how he sees it. He is always looking for anything that offers a unique image in subject, composition, or lighting. His images have appeared in books, magazines, on book covers, in public buildings, and have won prizes in juried photographic shows throughout the northeast.

His images are always shot in raw format and enhanced to taste. While editing, he employs creativity, refinement, and fine art photography techniques to improve the image. However, the intention is always to provide a natural looking photograph.

He spent his career as a Senior Science Fellow and Research Manager at the Monsanto Company, as a Research Professor at the University of Massachusetts, and as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Minnesota.
