About

Born in Grand Forks, North Dakota I grew up hunting and fishing. My love of the outdoors started at an early age. I moved to Tacoma, Washington in to work for Boeing and fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. I joined the Marine Corps and served in Viet Nam. I attended college off and on graduating from The Evergreen State College . I majored in English Literature, History and Education with a strong interest in writing poetry and working in clay. I worked as a social worker for the state of Washington, ending my carrier as an administrator with 29 years of service. I continue to write and work on ceramics projects in my studio in Tacoma. Freeing My Thoughts is the culmination of many years of writing. I hope you enjoy it.
